Microdots scanner
Červinka, Luděk ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The microdots are very small object. The microdots are applied in protection object. The project purpose is to find and to analyze the microdots. The project consists from two parts. A first part describes the hardware sensor construction and a second part describes the software solution. I selected the optics, camera module and illumination in the hardware part. I’m analyzing of the microdots on a picture in software part.
Machine vision for locating objects
Hasík, Dávid ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with design of machine vision system for object localization and its application possibilities. Design approach, its components and their individual advantages and disadvantages for this type of machine vision system are described. This thesis also includes simple model of machine vision system for object localization using regular PC. For image processing is used Vision Assistant and its tools. Two scripts are made in this software and their performance is compared.
Electronic instrument for environment monitoring during plants growing
Žák, Jaromír ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this project is to make electronic instrument for monitoring environment during plants growing for Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno. The new device will replace current analog recorder of temperature and humidity. New device will be extended by measuring atmospheric pressure, illumination and CO2 concentration. Main advantage of electronic measuring is better lucidity of gained values. New concept allows easier comparison new values with earlier measured data.
Advanced laser diagnostic systems to measure flow field
Loutocký, Petr ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to give readers a comprehensive view of the present laser methods for measuring the velocity of fluid flow. The methods are classified and compared according to various criteria. Individual techniques are briefly outlined their principles of measurement, options and range of applications. Furthermore, this work discusses the advantages and disadvantages, appropriate areas of application and the basic parameters. At the end we can find a sample analysis of data measured by one method.
Indoor optical wireless link design
Kaňa, Leoš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
In last years phenomena of wireless communication technologies became a primary interest of big development laboratories whole world. Domain of point to point links which are realized by laser technology with narrow beam divergence and very sensitive photo-detectors is ordinarily used these days. This trend of using light waves as carrier medium turned interests of scientist to the sphere of wide area networks which is domain of wi-fi radio technologies. One of new trends in this sphere is also in-door free space optics. With expansion which leads to using LED's in everyday applications and with technological progress of last years, also grows tendency of most effective utilization of LED systems. The result of this effort is thought which considerate LED as source of artificial lighting and source of carrier medium for modulated signal. This kind of device must fulfill hygienic standards for illumination and also must be able to work with high frequency by which is signal modulated. These systems can provide links with sufficient capacity in order of hundred megabits.
Analysis of chip forming mechanism with a high-speed digital camera
Kopřiva, Antonín ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the main theory concerning high-speed cameras, their usefullness in industry and to present the cameras available at the market. A few experiments have been done focused on the right choice of an objective, lighting of the scene or setting of the cameras. A special equipment has been invented for a better process of measuring followed by experiment aimed at boring a cutter in materials chosen beforehand. The speed and the acceleration of the cutter was ana-lyzed by means of MotionMeasure software in another experiment.
Day lighting and solar heat load of buildings
Vyhlídalová, Karolína ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This master´s thesis is about searching for a connection between solar illumination and solar irradiance. The task is attempt to find out if it is possible to use one factor in order to determine the other one. Part of this thesis deals with cooling of virtual building.
Design and construction of an interactive light sources panel
Žák, Martin ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with design and construction of the interactive light sources board and measurement of various parameters of those light sources. Using the given requirements, a solution is worked out (construction materials, behaviour, design, wiring etc. are given). Based on this, the interactive board was also constructed and put into operation. The thesis is also focused on the given light sources themselves (incandescent light bulbs, halogen lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, fluorescent tubes and LED lamps) and their measurement results are presented.
The indoor environment of Kindergartens in terms of Building physics requirements
Jechová, Marie ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Bantová, Sylva (advisor)
The thesis titled "The indoor Environment of Kindergartens in Terms of Building Physics Requirements" addresses the challenges associated with ensuring thermal comfort in the indoor environment, while simultaneously providing adequate lighting and daylighting for the classrooms of kindergartens. The thesis is structured into interconnected and complementary sections. The first section dissects the identified problem, establishes legislative requirements, outlines research methods, and defines the objectives, which will be assessed in the conclusion. This section also includes the definition of the kindergarten object in accordance with current legislation. Furthermore, the issues of lighting and daylighting are explained from the perspective of applicable laws, regulations, and standards, incorporating all necessary variables, graphs, formulas, calculations, and definitions. Similarly, subsequent chapters will elaborate on the thermal comfort of the indoor environment. The final section of the theory provides an overview of simulation and computational software tools, employed to model different scenarios, compare the current and proposed conditions, and draw conclusions for the thesis. The practical section follows, focusing on the design of window openings, shading methods, and ventilation regimes to meet the requirements for daily lighting and daylighting while adhering to the maximum indoor air temperature in line with normative requirements. Experimental measurements of essential input data for assessing the thermal stability of the indoor environment were conducted during summer months in the existing facility. In the concluding part of the thesis, conclusions will be drawn regarding the ratio of floor area of transparent parts of building envelopes to the floor area of the classrooms. This is done to ensure compliance with legislative requirements concerning both thermal and lighting comfort in the indoor environment. The conclusion also summarizes potential measures to achieve the desired parameters and outlines a prospective solution to the addressed issues.
Sensitivity calibration of visible light dosimeter
Škarvadová, Adéla ; Klusoň, Petr (referee) ; Veselý, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with light dosimeters and modern printing and coating techniques for thin-film formation. The subject of experimental study is the optimization of photosensitive compositions for the preparation of disposable, printed and thin-film dosimeters for visible light. Sensitivity, reproducibility and irreversibility of their color change were optimized. Compositions were calibrated for desired light dose. Functional samples for gallery were fabricated and stability of functional samples were tested at high temperatures of storing.
